This project was an ambitious full 5-story gut remodel in the heart of Beacon Hill. The existing property was poorly laid out, rarely updated and needed some serious opening up and TLC. The kitchen was moved upstairs from the basement to the main level, utilizing the original dining room and butler's pantry space, while opening it up to the living room. The result, after some structural, HVAC and plumbing modifications, is a traditional home for a modern family that pays homage to the building's storied past.
